We are using CKEditor2.00.12 on DNN 6.1.5
When we try to insert an image we get a very slow response. i.e. we click the Image Button, then click "Browse Server" button. The resulting pop up window takes at least 50 seconds to load. Its driving our client nuts!

I asked this exact question a while back. Except that instead of 50 seconds ours is more like 10 minutes sometimes. We also have about 15+ gb of files on the server.
This is a shortcoming of cdeditor IMO. It definitely doesn't load a large file system very well. Unfortunately I haven't found a good way around it. Except to not use the built in browser to upload/access files. The forum uses a separate user folder for each person and other areas have their own file browser. As the site content editor I'm the only one who is significantly impacted by this. I use ftp to get the files to the server and then just type in the url when I need to reference something on the server.
I'm hoping that upgrading to a new server will help in the future but for the time being it is what it is. I for one would like to see DNN CKEditor file picker do a better job with large file systems.
