Commented Unassigned: stop tag removal [7598]

Font Awesome and others are reusing the <i> tag to [denote an icon](http://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/examples/).

However, the editor is setup to remove empty tags. This issue was noted in the [larger CK project](https://github.com/blueriver/MuraCMS/commit/962ec83c1d5894baf83dbd26a084798b510fd8fb) so I was hoping something similar could be done here?

Thanks for the tip.

That allows me to enter the <span> tag and save it. I see it in the HTML Pro module when viewing the page, but the next time I try to edit the source, it strips the <span> tag.

Can't I just flip a global switch that tells CKEditor to NEVER remove ANY tag? I can't think of any reason why I would ever want my editor to remove tags that I enter into my HTML Pro module.
