a) Make "Portal Page" selector default, instead of URL
b) When entering Link Manager and Url IsNot empty and Url startswith "\" then try to search page in portal pages and make "Portal Page" selector default.

I tested it. Works perfectly. I have a page \home.aspx and any hyperlink with that href make "Portal Page" the default selector. Great. Thx!

Would it be possible to implement a "default hyperlink href" in the editor settings?
Currently, in the editor, when I select a word/phrase that has does not have a link yet, and click on the hyperlink icon, then I get URLmanager with empty textbox. With such a "default hyperlink href" this would not be empty. And if that default would be a page from the website (for example \home.aspx in my case), your currect code would make "Portal Page" the default selector.
I don't know if this is possible without touching the ckeditor. But if it is, then you might want to consider it as an option.
