Commented Unassigned: Time to Load [7503]

I love the CKEditor for a number of reasons, mainly the module and page level customization, image manager and the plain text stripper.

The one issue that the RADeditor out performances the CKEditor is the load time.

With the CK Editor it takes 3 to 5 seconds for the editor to appear.


This effect is also with the basic toolbar.



I have the CKEditor Provider 2.00.06 on 6.02.06 (10) CE edition

Any chance of it being fixed?

So i did some further digging to see if any custom plugin is the problem but it is not. But i think i found the problem which is causing the delay.

The editor is actually loaded after the page is loaded. But that is needed to make sure all modules (with or without ajax) do work properly.

So there is no way to make it faster. The only thing i fixed is that the yellow textbox like shown in the screen shot is now longer shown.
