At some point I should attempt to join this project, when time permits. Help you out a bit, anyway I appreciate how helpful you are.
When you attempt to embed a video from Bright Cove it appears to not wrap it within an iframe, but rather a Flash Media. Also the Z-Index bypasses all other indexes on the site.

I don't have access to the API unfortunately, but it appears to embed like a normal Flash object; then inherit and call their services to that video to display it.
